My Everything

Verse 1

I just say "hi" and you read my mind,

then you take my hand.

You kiss my cheek, it makes me weak,

it's all that I can stand.

Into my eyes, you look inside.

So scared where do we land?

Chorus

It's the light in your eyes,

you take me by surprise

every time you say my name.

It's the taste of your lips,

it's the way that you kiss.

How could I live without this?

Verse 2

You're smile it helps,

your touch it melts,

the coldness that surrounds me.

I never knew, there was a you

that could make me so complete.

Sweet words from your breath,

you I accept, perfect to a T.

Country Can be Funky

Country Can Be Funky

The boys ride into town, just to buckle down, to that country sound.

Country Can Be Funky

Wearin' cowboy hats, dusty boots and chaps, that's where it's at.

So you say you don't like country, well I got news for you!

Those other beats just can't compete with GAC or CMT!

Country Can Be Funky

Rodeos are cool, ropin' calves ridin' bulls, demo derbys, tractor pulls

Country Can Be Funky

Jamboree in the Hills, with spine tinglin' chills, intoxicating thrills!

So when you're walkin' down a country street, you need a place to sleep or somethin' to eat,

the folks 'round town will take you in, if you tip your hat and shoot 'em a grin......

INSTRUMENTAL

They'll think you're INSANE...4-Wheelin' in the RAIN, they've never jumped that TRAIN..

They've never jumped that TRAIN....where Country Can Be Funky!

So cast your troubles aside, take your horse for a ride, to show your "country pride"

Your "Country Pride".......Owwwwwww

COUNTRY CAN BE FUNKY.....YEAHHHHHHHH!!!

  Faith

You've gotta keep your faith on the path to the edge of the water

cause that's where you'll decide to sink or swim

You've gotta keep your faith on the path to the edge of the water

and think about those footprints in the sand.

Waves will come and waves will go, but he will always let you know

He's there for you, through thick and thin, so when he knocks at your door let him in

You've gotta keep your faith on the path to the edge of the water

cause that's where you'll decide to sink or swim

You've gotta keep your faith on the path to the edge of the water

and think about those footprints in the sand.

When life gets touch. You've had enough. You've got no plans, you've given up

He'll cut a deal with, so you can win. All He asks in return is let him in.

You'll think you're on the path to nowhere, and nothings goin' right.

He needs you to know that He's always by your side, so hold your head up high!

Instrumental

You've thought it through, decided what you'll do. You figured out He carried you, when you thought he was gone and you were on your own.

Now you shout out, "Alleluia..He's within!"...shout out, "Alleluia..He's within!"

So think about those footprints in the sand...in the sand.....Footprints, Footprints, Footprints in the sand!

Before Him

Not only words can say

how I feel today

because of you

I'm no longer blue

He filled my life with pain

so many days of rain

He made me insecure

why, I'm still not sure

But with you I'm strong enough to conquer all that surrounds me

with you I'm strong enough to say what's on my mind

you held my hand and helped me understand

that I could learn to love another man

I wish I knew you....before him!

It's gonna take some time

for you to change my mind

How can I be sure

It won't be like before

And with you I'm strong enough to conquer all that surrounds me

with you I'm strong enough to say what's on my mind

you held my hand and helped me understand

that I could learn to love another man

I wish I knew you....before him!

Instrumental

Again my life has changed

it's time to rearrange

The love I have with you

feels so fresh and new

Now with you I'm strong enough to conquer all that surrounds me

with you I'm strong enough to say what's on my mind

you held my hand and helped me understand

that I could learn to love another man

I wish I knew you....before him!

I wish I knew you...before him!

Nice

My friends are always trying to fix me up

It always seems to bring me down.

They'll say they found someone who's really cute

and this one even wears a suit.

I don't mind suits.

But I prefer boots.

I won't date snobs

but yes, he's got to have a job.

I'm lookin for Nice

find me someone Nice

Not cold as Ice

I just want Nice

I went out on a date the other night

and things they just weren't goin right

He went to hold my hand, I said you understand

I won't go home with you tonight,

cause I'm looking for Nice

and you're not Nice

I'll be quite precise

I just want Nice

He doesn't have to have Flare

He doesn't have to have Hair

short, tall, I don't care

but he must be Nice

I won't date mean

I don't need pristine

cause T-shirt and jeans, Oooo, is fine for me

Instrumental

So if you find someone you think will do

be sure and send him out my way.

And when he come to try and win my heart

be sure he brings his Resume

and it must say Nice....N-I-C-E Nice

I'll be quite precise

I just want Nice

I won't date mean

I don't need pristine

cause T-shirt jeans, Ooooo is fine for me.

I've been quite precise, I just want....I just want....I just want......NICE!

Where's My Fairytale

Brown eyes, steel armor, you were the one I wanted

White horse and a heart of gold but it never showed

I'll sit, in waiting for you to come and save me

I should have known.

I should just bite the apple, cause it would kill me faster than this.

Where's my fairytale, that one you said you'd be?

My ever-after failed, I thought you'd rescue me.

Where's my fairytale, the magic will not last?

The clock is striking twelve, this story's ending fast.

Na, na, na, na, na,

Na, na, na, na, na,

You ride for hours just to slay the dragon.

But in the end you loose, cause you looked away.

The spell's now broken I've banished all my hoping

I should have known.

I should just bite the apple, cause it would kill me faster than this.

Where's my fairytale, that one you said you'd be?

My ever-after failed, I thought you'd rescue me.

Where's my fairytale, the magic will not last?

The clock is striking twelve, this story's ending fast.

Instrumental

Where's my fairytale, that one you said you'd be?

My ever-after failed, I thought you'd rescue me.

Where's my fairytale, the magic will not last?

The clock is striking twelve, this story's ending fast.

Where's my fairytale, that one you said you'd be?

My ever-after failed, I thought you'd rescue me.

Where's my fairytale, the magic will not last?

The clock is striking twelve, this story's ending fast.

Na, na, na, na, na, where's my fairytale

Na, na, na, na, na, where's my fairytale

Na, na, na, na, na, the clock is stricking twelve

This story's ending fast.

Time for Me

I fell in love with a wonderful man, and he fell in love with me.

We got married, had kids and then he flipped his lid.

Now I'm raising them all alone.

So when will there be time for me, my babies know I love them endlessly.

But a woman needs a man you see, you know what I mean.

Not to open a jar or to fix the car, but to hold her hand and kiss her tenderly.

A woman needs a man you see–is there one for me?

I work all day. I want to come home and play. The list of things to do

doesn't include you, so what's a mom to do?

There's a football game, hockey too, piano class–gotta get there fast.

Eat along the way. Won't eat together today.

I drop them off then I'm on my way to another day.

The very next day is like the day before, but with so much more.

You cook and clean, and then in between, a load of clothes!

Lord only knows—it's INSANITY!!!

So when will there be time for me, my babies know I love them endlessly.

But a woman needs a man you see, you know what I mean.

Not to open a jar or to fix the car, but to hold her hand and kiss her tenderly.

A woman needs a man you see–is there one for me?

It's time to hit the tub, and try to relax. But someone's at the door,

how could they want more–I am done for sure.

Then one of them says, "Mom, how are you today?"

I look and think..I want to run away, but I see their faces and I have to say,

we will be OK. I hug them and say, "We will be OK!"

Then someday they'll be time for me. I always knew it'd come eventually.

But until that day, I'll wait and see if we find one for me–One is all I need.

Who will it be?

Some Day, Some Where, Some Way

It's been so long,

since you've held me close beside you through the night

With the easy feeling that some day we might

Never have to keep our secret out of sight

And it's wrong, how I need to feel the tenderness you show

When we're lying in that perfectness we know

That we call our own but can't let free to grow

But darling, some day, somewhere, some way we'll stand tall

And darling, one day we'll have our way with it all

Like a love song, we can only stay in waiting and pretend

Only acting out a lady and a friend

In a story that could have a perfect end

And darling, some day, somewhere, some way we'll stand tall

And darling, one day we'll have our way with it all

And darling, one day we'll have our way with it all

with it all, with it all....

Kick You to the Curb

I thought I couldn't exist

But now it's easy to resist

I've forgot our first kiss..Huh!

It's something I don't miss

I thought I couldn't survive

Without you in my life

Now that I've dried my eyes

I'm pushing you to the side

I'm gonna kick you to the curb

Back up and hit ya twice

I'll never return

until you're gone

I gotta live for me

all on my own

And do it happily

Without you...without you

Instrumental

You never treated me right

I don't have to think twice

I'm done with being nice

You're gonna pay the price

I'm gonna kick you to the curb

Back up and hit ya twice

I'll never return

until you're gone

I gotta live for me

all on my own

And do it happily

I'm gonna kick you to the curb

Back up and hit ya twice

I'll never return

until you're gone

I gotta live for me

all on my own

And do it happily

Without you...without you

I'm still going to the prom

I'll Stay out on night long

Play guitar and write songs

And I'm keeping the dog..Yeah

Woo Hoo the things I'll do, without you, without you. Without you, without you!

Na na na....

There he goes Elli..there he goes!

Loser..Just get outta here buddy..just go and don't come back

It's guys like you that make us have to write songs like these

You're right Elli...what a chump!....Pfffffft

You know what..I'm so much happier without you anyways....See YA!!!!

Na na na na na......

By My Side

I was out one night, minding my own

when a man walked up to me.

He said, "Hello", I'm all alone,

would you like to dance with me?

He held my hand as we walked onto the floor,

where I heard my favorite song.

He held me tight, but it was alright,

he did it in a friendly way.

I WOKE FROM DREAMIN', THINKIN' BOUT HIM,

WISHIN HE WAS IN MY LIFE, --BY MY SIDE.

As I woke up, the rain was pouring down,

as thoughts of him were in my head.

I closed my eyes, to fall back to sleep,

just so I could see him again.

I went about my day, with not much to say

emotions tangled up inside.

I tried to concentrate, told my feelings to wait,

hopin he would call like he said.

DAY DREAMING, THINKIN BOUT HIM,

WISHIN HE WAS IN MY LIFE,--BY MY SIDE.

I'm wonderin if he's thinkin bout me,

cause I'm thinkin of him constantly.

I just can't take any more, I'm tired of pacing the floor.

Waiting for the phone to ring.

Instrumental

The day's now gone, emptiness lingers on

then suddenly a knock at my door.

Running down stairs, to see who is there,

a shadow of a man appears.

I turn on the light, my heart pounds with delight.

The door opens, we both just stare.

NO MORE DREAMING, AND WISHIN FOR HIM,

HE IS STANDIN IN MY LIFE --BY MY SIDE

HE'LL BE FOREVER IN MY LIFE --BY MY SIDE.

If I Could Love Somebody Else

Verse 1

Met him somewhere down in Arizona

just like me he was running from his past

came from somewhere north of California

said that he, was never going back

Verse 2

Talked awhile became the best of old friends

said it was so good now to be free

didn't have to say too much, just listen

the things he said they sounded just like me

Chorus

If I could love somebody else now

You would be the one

If I could just start over once again

I found you now but then I lost you oh so long ago

No ones gonna keep me down again

Verse 3

Stopped along the way to be alone and

oh he made me feel so wonderful that night

Went our separate way in Oklahoma

I sat and watched him pull on outta sight

Verse 4

Now and them I stop and think I about him

Living those few moments once again

My days and nights are longer now without him

Lord I can't help wondering how it might have been

Chorus

If I could love somebody else now

You would be the one

If I could just start over once again

I found you now but then I lost you oh so long ago

No ones gonna keep me down again
